HI THERE!

My name is Brittany Roberts and I am the founder and creator of My Haven Christian Counseling & Coaching, LLC. I am a licensed professional counselor currently offering virtual therapy for women in the state of Virginia. I received my Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University and completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University.

My work as a therapist is extremely important to me and I am confident that God has called and equipped me to do this work! John 15:5 tells us, “apart from Him we can do nothing” and I wholeheartedly believe that I could not do this work without Him.

I love having the opportunity to walk with you as you navigate various life challenges and stressors while providing guidance, support, and encouragement along the way. I take a flexible, personalized approach to therapy that’s built on trust and understanding. This means I focus on creating a strong, supportive relationship while also helping you identify what’s getting in the way of your goals—and working together to find practical ways forward.

I look forward to walking alongside you and supporting you in whatever season of life you find yourself in.

Education & Licensure

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). I am currently licensed to practice counseling in the state of Virginia (#0701014434). I received my Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University (2017) and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University (2021). Much of my most recent experience has included working with the young adult population in a college setting. Prior to this I worked with children, adults, and couples, as well as facilitated group therapy in various settings.

VALUES STATEMENT

As a licensed therapist and the founder of a Christian counseling private practice, my faith is a foundational part of who I am. It shapes my values of empathy, integrity, and hope.

While I counsel from a Christian worldview, I warmly welcome clients from all walks of life. You do not need to share my same faith to work with me. I will never impose my beliefs, and our work together will always be centered around your needs, your story, and your goals.

What I love…

I am passionate about helping women who are struggling with identity and self-esteem, women who are tired of being held back, the mom who is feeling anxious, the friend who is feeling depressed and worthless, the wife who feels misunderstood, the daughter who is frustrated and feeling stuck, or the sister who is struggling in her walk with God.

And while this isn’t an exhaustive list, I want you to know that no matter what brought you here, there is space for you…

TOGETHER WE WILL…

  • Process and explore painful and/or impactful experiences

  • Confront narratives, cycles, and patterns that have held you for too long

  • Explore what may not be working well/what you would like to change

  • Work towards healing and relief so that you can walk away empowered, confident, and free

I could also break out into song any moment (don’t say I didn’t warn you.)

I love a good steak, Reese’s anything is my favorite, I crave hibachi a little more than usual, and I love scenic views.
